This practice is devoted exclusively to the field of dentistry known as orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, which is the science and art of straightening misaligned teeth and jaws. Treatment commonly consists of "braces" or other orthodontic appliances. Dr. Wayne Ostdick, along with Laurie, Kim, Liliya, Jill and Roni extend a warm welcome to you!
A specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics is a dentist who has had additional years of training in a university environment beyond dental school. For problems outside our specialty, we will work closely with your family dentist or other dental specialists. Should you not have a family dentist, we will be happy to assist you in selecting one.
We always welcome new patients, as well as care for our regular patients. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that every child first visit an orthodontist by age 7 - or earlier if an orthodontic problem is detected by parents, the family dentist or the child's physician. We very much appreciate the referral of your friends and relatives to our practice. Thank you for selecting our office, and we look forward to working with you.
